Helping Our Neighbors in Emergencies

Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue

A group photo of some of our members taken in March 2008

Welcome!

We are all volunteers ready to help our neighbors.

We respond to 911 fire and medical emergencies, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year. In 2008, we responded to 548 medical emergency calls and 177 fire related calls. Although our primary responsibility is Washington, VA and its surrounding areas, we help other companies when needed.

This web site shows you:

· What we do and our operations - including a photo gallery;

· Our new tanker for which we continue to fund-raise; our for sale tanker.

· How you can support us in many different ways from donating your time, renting our hall for your function, buying our fund-raiser CD, and more.

· Upcoming events at the station such as breakfasts, fund-raiser dinners & meetings.

· Lots and lots of pictures: selected pictures in our mini-galleries and many many more pictures in those unabridged collections HERE.
