Rappahannock County (Office of the E-911 Coordinator) is implementing a new Emergency Contact and severe weather system notification system CodeRed to deliver automatic alert message to subscribers via telephone. Learn more about it here. To register, please go here.
The VDH emergency preparedness and response programs involve partners working together to plan for public health emergencies. VDH also licenses and offers technical assistance to fire departments, ambulances and paramedics to enable them to provide the emergency medical care to those in need.
